The submission deadline is August 22, 2008. The participants will have the option of presenting either a full paper (40 min. + 20 min. of open discussion) or a
“communication” (20 min. + 10 min. of open discussion). The official languages of the colloquium will be Spanish and English. Successful candidates will be contacted by email and their names will appear in the society’s official web site. The S.C.F.A (Chilean Society for Analytic Philosophy) not only attempts to promote research in those areas traditionally associated with Analytic Philosophy (Epistemology, Philosophy of Mind, Logic, Philosophy of Languaje, Ethics, Philosophy of Science, etc.), but also aims to generate dialog with other scientific disciplines that convey important philosophical consequences such as cognitive science, biology or psychology.

The II International Colloquium will be held at the Sala Ercilla of the Biblioteca Nacional de Chile in Santiago, Chile. The Library is located in Avenida Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins 651, Santiago, Chile. The nearest underground station is Metro Santa Lucía. More information will be posted soon in our website:
