Transcribimos la noticia que Pedro Santos (UALG, Portugal) nos envíó sobre el próximo Encuentro Latino de Filosofía Analítica:
The Meeting, supported by the Italian Society for Analytic Philosophy, the Portuguese Society for Analytic Philosophy and the Spanish Society for Analytic Philosophy, is intended to provide an occasion to hear and discuss papers drawn from an international base of contributors representative of philosophical research in Latin countries. A number of sessions will be available for the presentation of papers not previously published. Preference will be given to junior researchers, that is, PhD students who are working on their dissertation or young philosophers who have finished their PhD no more than three years ago. Each presentation will last no more than 40 minutes, so that at least 20 minutes may be allowed for discussion. Presented papers should aim to introduce material involving recent research. Submissions on the topic Language and Temporality are encouraged, but there are no restrictions on the areas which papers may address. Those wishing to make a presentation should submit an abstract (500 to 1000 words) to ai cc.univaq.it by 28th February 2009. Decisions on whether papers have been accepted will be made by the end of March 2009. Some of those whose paper has been rejected might be invited as discussants, depending on the topic of their work. Speakers and discussants will have their accomodation expenses covered. The travel expenses are upon them.
